I was really struggling to recall this party until I saw the "VIP" on the ticket. I have vague memories of many friends and co-workers in the "VIP" balcony section of the theatre. There was a DJ, and maybe a band...? I'm pretty sure I did the big countdown on stage as well.

I was wearing a shirt with shiny disco ball squares all over it. It worked as a New Year's Eve shirt. It looked like this:

OMG! I was actually at this thing too! And in fact my good friend dragged me to it, and her friend got really wasted way too early in the night. (Maybe 9 pm!?) and we had to go take her home in a cab and she threw up inside the cab at around 11:45 pm. So we spent that NYE in a puke ridden already gross Royal Oak cab while all the rest of our friends were at this thing. And the worst was we got back and it was all over. People were all drunk and happy.

I have TONS of my ticket stubs from HS. Your stories really brought back tons of memories of growing up in the D.

Maybe some more of our ticket stubs will match up! It'll be interesting to see who was at which shows as the year goes on.

I've collected many tickets stubs from all the shows I've seen through the years.

There are shows I've seen that had no ticket, and I have lost a few stubs here and there. This is my attempt to chronicle what I remember about each stub that I have. I'll post about each on the day of the year that the show happened!
