May 31, 1991, CIMX-FM in Windsor, Canada (which broadcast into Detroit) changed its format from Adult Contemporary to Alternative Rock. Many stories can be told by many people about what happened after that day, but I was lucky enough to be the last DJ to do a show on the nightly "Cutting Edge" program from 11pm-4am.

I'm fat, too. Here's why: food in America is cheaper than it's ever been. We all eat way too much, too often. I can't really say I'm a fan of Phil Collins, although I was a fan around 1985 just like the rest of Planet Earth. There's a phenomenon that mostly only applies to creative-types. [And this phenomenon can be applied to anyone in a creative field, whether it be painting, writing or illustrating. For the sake of simplicity, we'll stick with music.] They get accused of "selling out". This rarely happens in the regular old "business world".
At my totally awesome insurance company job, we take occasional online training.
I've been taking this particular course for days. It wasn't until I was almost done that I noticed that certain stock photos had awesome captions as I hovered my mouse over them. I wish I'd noticed it sooner, it would have made it more fun. Hello, friends. |
