I can't really say I'm a fan of Phil Collins, although I was a fan around 1985 just like the rest of Planet Earth.
I've got two ears and a heart, don't I?
I do respect Phil's body of work, and I am a fan of early Genesis, with Peter Gabriel at the lead microphone and Phil on backing vocals and percussion. There may be no better rock drummer than Phil Collins.
[You and I can debate this, but honestly, I may not care enough about this argument and will just let you win.]
Recently, the "retired from rock" Mr. Collins performed at a school attended by his sons. It's a neat thing to do, and nice to watch.
