I did not watch the Golden Globe Awards show last night. Instead, I typed a long essay about why I wasn't watching them. It came across a little mean and grumpy, but I was planning on posting it anyway because I want this site to be truthful with you.
There's one thing I forgot to do, though, which is click this button:

So the post is long gone.
Probably for the best.
More honesty:
I took an unplanned break from posting here. I want to put something up new every weekday, but if I have regular "life" things happening, I get behind. I know I wrote on my resumé that I'm a self-starter, but I kinda fibbed just to get the job. (I also do not have a degree in mud-flap design engineering. Sorry.)
It's more difficult than I expected to write every day. You know how writers always talk about how difficult it can be to write? Turns out, that's because it is.
So, I'm a little disappointed in myself, but I'm not gonna beat myself up about it. This is a totally new thing for me. There's a learning curve involved. There are new disciplines and patterns I still need to work at (including not ending sentences with prepositions).
Your support and feedback has been really supportive and mind-blowing. I really do appreciate it!
If you're new here, or just looking for some fun, light reading, check out Welcome to Our Radio Station or Unseen Cinema. I'm also quite proud of The Deal With Cats. I'm not sure I can write something like it again, so enjoy my brilliance while you still can.
This week, there will be more content. I promise.
Although I said that last week too...
Probably for the best.
