"Where the Action Is" was an afternoon/after school show hosted by Dick Clark. Of course Mr.Clark also hosted "American Bandstand"
As a little kid growing up on the East side of Detroit I would head over to my second cousins house so she could "watch" me. I would sit in a chair in the living room and watch her dance to the TV until my mother came home from work. As the bands lip-synched to their latest record my second cousin danced.
